Apparel Canvas was co-founded by Justin Rodriguez and Martin Arredondo, two best friends since their early childhood. With an unwillingess for the average they both began searching for something professionally and personally rewarding. The two decided to have weekly business meetings, often over lunch at Baldie’s - a nearby breakfast diner, until an idea was born.
After ordering shirts for his local softball team, Justin brought up the idea creating custom printed T-Shirts. Both already discussed the possibility of entering the clothing industry so the idea fit - like a favorite shirt. =)
Working six days a week as a bartender and server in Palo Alto, CA, Martin was able to financially support the business during its early years of operation. Justin, a recent graduate from San Francisco State University with a degree in business marketing, started many of the business logistics and website creation for their new venture. With college and professional backgrounds in business, marketing, retail sales, and customer service, combined with their drive for success, Apparel Canvas was founded.
Apparel Canvas was founded in our home’s garage in Union City, and have provided custom t shirt prints for customers all across the San Francisco California bay area. After 3 years their operation has continued to grow and they have recently moved to a warehouse in Fremont, Ca.Martin and Justin look forward to providing the best experience possible for all of their customers.
